Toronto’s theatre scene bursts into life each summer with the Toronto Fringe Festival, a vibrant celebration of artistic expression. This year’s edition, taking place from July 3rd to 14th, 2024, promises another exciting lineup, showcasing many types of productions across various genres. It includes 77 shows in 16 venues across the city, so there’s definitely lots to look forward to. The Fringe provides a platform for diverse voices and innovative works, making it a must-visit for theatre enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.
The 36th annual Toronto Fringe Festival
The festival will feature dance productions, eight KidsFest and Teen shows, seven shows in Unconventional Venues, musicals and more. Like every year, the 2024 edition will have contemporary and experimental theatre, dance, comedy, storytelling, and solo shows.

- Remembrance at Theatre Passe Muraille Mainspace A performance that uses Afro-Caribbean dance, and movement expressions by choreographer Kay-Ann Ward
