According to the fourth annual Uber Eats Canada Cravings Report food delivery is popular in many Canadian cities. The report summed up a lot of the delivery trends, including ranking the cities that tip the most, the most ordered cuisine, the most popular alcoholic drink orders and many more. It also brought to light the most expensive Uber Eats order, which was an order placed at a Toronto burger joint.
Here’s what the Uber Eats Canada Cravings Report revealed
According to the delivery platform’s report, the most expensive order was worth $1,048.01. The name of the restaurant wasn’t revealed by the data, but it did share that it was a burger spot in the city. Coming in second and third with an order value of $1,039.01 in Vancouver and $893.54 order in Montreal.
Among the top 10 cuisines in the country, Japanese cuisine snagged the number one spot. Others on the list included Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Korean, Middle Eastern and Italian. Pizza and burgers were also among the most ordered foods.

Victoria was found to be the city that tips the most, followed by Sherbrooke, Quebec City, Gatineau, and Trois-Rivieres.

Any guesses on the most requested side for an Uber Eats order? And no, it’s not poutine, although the dish did secure the third position. Fries came first, followed by nuggets. When it came to the drinks, it seems like Canadians have a thirst for margaritas and beers.
