There are quite a few foodie events in the pipeline for the city, with pop-ups, new openings and food festivals. Starting April 1, you can celebrate Filipino Restaurants in Toronto! This is the first time Toronto will be celebrating Filipino Restaurant Month so it’s the perfect opportunity to try something new. As part of the celebration, various spots across The 6ix will be offering prix fixe menus.

Filipino Restaurant Month In Toronto
The festival is being held by the Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) and the Philippine Consulate General in Calgary. Whether you’re a fan of Filipino cuisine or you’re looking to discover flavours for the first time, the festival gives you the chance to enjoy both. There are going to be ten participating restaurants in Ontario, out of which nine are in The 6ix.

The restaurants are offering a range of fixed menus, priced from $20 to $60, depending on the restaurant. Options are available for both lunch and dinner, with many different dishes on offer. This includes items like lechon (roasted pork), laing (taro leaves with meat or seafood with a coconut milk base), sisig (minced pork and chicken liver) and so many more. Desserts are also included.
