When we hear hot dogs, some of us might think of the classic, all-American version with toppings and condiments, which are a satisfying meal on occasion. But the 6ix of course is known for its diverse range of food, which means you can find Brazilian-style hot dogs in Toronto. Yep, that’s definitely a thing.
Where to find Brazilian-style hot dogs
Recently launched in Etobicoke, the restaurant Krazy Dog offers different items on its menu. It’s beef hot dogs wrapped in a bun, with each dish varying based on the toppings options.
For those of you who like it a little spicy, there’s the Spicy Hazard Hot Dog. This comes with Tabasco Sriracha, jalapeño, bacon, crushed chillies, mushrooms and mashed potato. There’s also a veggie option, Nice to Unmeat you Hot Dog. This is the Yves veggie dog with onions, sautéed peppers, vinaigrette salsa, fresh basil, corn and mashed potato.

Other items include Dual Citizen Hot Dog and Hungry as Hell Hot Dog. Or you can opt to build your own with the available toppings.
Krazy Dog also serves up traditional eats like Cassava Croquette, Coxinha, Kibe, and more. Picanha, which refers to a cut of beef, is on the menu as Picanha Poutine and Picanha Sandwich. Pair the meal with one of the restaurant’s desserts or sweet treats.
At the moment, Krazy Dog is only open for takeout and delivery. You can find them on major delivery platforms; Uber Eats, Skip The Dishes and DoorDash.
