Purple Sandwiches at Yoghurt House
While their main focus is on yoghurts, it is their sandwiches that seem to getting the spotlight. The most featured item has become the purple sweet potato sandwich. Its vibrant colour and special taste has gotten people raving about it all over Instagram. There are of course, other flavour combinations too. Some of which include Nutella, Red Bean Shiratama, Corn Ham and others.
It’s not just the colour of the sandwich that’s unique, but rather the texture too. Which is thanks to the presence of mochi. The Japanese rice cake paste gives the sandwich its Insta-worthy stretching action when you pull the sandwich apart. Oh, and if that doesn’t make for an interesting flavour combination already, its also got cream cheese!
Yoghurt House, home of the Insta-worthy purple sandwiches, is situated in North York. Their yoghurt menu is also an extensive one. You can find Thick Creamy Series (Oreo Yoghurt, French Cheese Yoghurt, etc.) and Fresh Fruity Series (Dragon Fruit, Mango, Banana).
