IKEA launches takeout options in Canadian locations

Swedish meatballs, anyone? Furniture giant IKEA has launched takeout options in all of its Canada locations, so that customers can now take home some of their favourite IKEA meals. Items that are available for takeout include the meatballs, butter chicken, fish & chips and MSC Certified salmon fillets.

As part of the takeout initiative, the company has also introduced affordable Family Meals options; Swedish Meatball Family Meal and a Veggie Ball Family Meal. Each one will have 24 meat or veggie balls, a choice of  two sides, sauces and chocolate DAIM cake.

Orders can be placed at the IKEA kiosk, which is situated in the Bistro after checkout. Customers can order for takeout at any of the IKEA locations countrywide, including the stores which are temporarily closed for dine-in due to regulations.
