#Instaweekend | CraveTwo to Tuna Tacos

It was a beautiful weekend both in Toronto and Vancouver, where Nicki is busy getting things ready to celebrate the official launch party of View the Vibe Vancouver. No matter how busy we are though, we all still have to eat and here are some of the best Instagrams we took and some of the others that caught our eyes…

Adam had a chance to check out CraveTwo at the historic Honest Ed’s Alley at Bloor and Bathurst. Serving up a day of food, drinks and live music, how could you better spend a Saturday? This yummy number is a porchetta sammie with fennel mayo by Terra Nerra.

While in between fabulous parties and whatnot, Adam still had time to chill out on the porch with a little homemade lemonade and his laptop to get some work done… or Netflix.

Saturday night, Adam made it down to Rock Lobster to eat a crab larger than most 5-year-olds. He put it best himself with, “We came. We ate. We conquered.”

Over in #YVR, Nicki is busy getting everything ready for the View the Vibe Vancouver media launch party. This is the fabulous dockside venue we’ll be hosting the fabulous fete at.

After a long day’s hard work, our girl decided just to kick it with some room service and a movie. With dishes like spot prawn, avocado, and arugula salads, staying in and relaxing at the Four Seasons Vancouver sounds pretty great, am I right?

For lunch the next day, Nicki grabbed a gorgeous bun-less Pacific salmon burger on the waterfront at Mahony & Sons.

Really, when you’re on the coast and there’s so much fresh fish, who could say no? Apparently Nicki is of this philosophy as here she is again with some super fresh sockeye salmon and tuna tacos at the Four Seasons Vancouver.

Back in Ontario, our buddies over at Port Restaurant were showing off their fabulous feature cocktail of the evening: a Ginger Peach Julep. So summery!

And of course, it wouldn’t be a complete #Instaweekend in Toronto without mentioning that the CNE started up this weekend. Our lovely friends at Cheeseworks have a stall set up that you should check out!

Here is one of the delicious creations they’ll be serving there. Who needs a Pogo when you can get BBQ Peameal + Bacon + Provolone on a Mac + Cheese bun by Hot Bunzz? Screw the diet, bikini season is almost over anyways.
