Last year, Toronto may have been all about the mega hotel, with the likes of the Shangri-La and the Trump Hotel redefining the TIFF landscape, but the boutique hotel is making a comeback for 2013. The Beverley Hotel, located at 335 Queen West, opened its doors on Friday, making it the newest boutique addition to the Queen West strip (though it’s notably closer to the city centre than The Drake and The Gladstone).
The Beverley Hotel has just 18 rooms in total, as well as a restaurant with chef Eric Wood, formerly of Hawthorne Food and Drink, at the helm. Did we mention there’s a rooftop patio? After work drinks this week are getting a much needed upgrade.
