I’m not going to lie, there have been some pretty weird and unique popsicle and ice cream flavours in existence to date. And a ketchup flavoured one is something that would also rank at the top for me. I mean, the first thing that comes to mind when someone says popsicle isn’t really the sauce condiment, but here we are. The limited-edition item is being introduced by French’s Ketchup, with the name “Frenchsicle.”

The brand has collaborated with local business Happy Pops (known for their fruity and vegan ice pops) in order to bring the frozen item to life. It’s being sold at popup locations all over Canada, but only for a day at each city. In Toronto, it’ll be available on June 23 at Maple Leaf Square from 11:30am – 3pm. So whether you love all things ketchup or you’re into trying something new, you can head to the popup spot.
The popsicles are part of a cool cause as well. French’s Ketchup will be donating two meals to Food Banks Canada for every Frenchicle that’s given away! It’s part of the brand’s initiative to address food security in the country.
