One of the biggest challenges of Halloween as a couple is not only finding a non-cliché couples’ costume, but also pulling it off. Done are the days of hitting up your local sex shop before a bar party to get an itty-bitty, barely-there costume. We’re now at the age that if we’re going to give “good costume,” we’re going to blow it out of the park.
With only a couple weeks to go until the big day — which just so conveniently happens to be a Friday this year — we’ve rounded up celebs who are known for their over-the-top, super-impressive Halloween costumes. From Heidi Klum, who is always unrecognizable in her masterpieces, to supermodel Chrissy Teigen (whose playful costumes coincide with her humourous personality), we’ve got images of celeb couples (then and now) and how they’ve done Halloween in the most recent years. If this ain’t #inspo, we don’t know what is.
1. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen is without a doubt one of the funniest ladies on Twitter. We love how adorable she and her hubby, John Legend, are. The couple has mastered the easy-to-replicate adorable couples costume, making them seem like just your ordinary, everyday couple-next-door (which they SO aren’t).

2. Fergie & Josh Duhamel
This long-time couple always goes above and beyond for Halloween that we secretly think they must hire a costume consultant to create their looks (Editor’s Note: They probably DO!). We can’t wait to see how they add their son Axl into their get-ups this year.
3. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian
Think what you want about this couple, but we must admit, they work Halloween with an enviable ease. Grease Lightning!
4. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Kim is great at putting the focus on herself, and over the years, she’s had some sexy, yet predictable, costumes. But with Kanye in the mix, she’s not only toned it down, but has created a more covered-up look to covet.
5. Heidi Klum and Seal
Though they’re no longer together, this former couple was legendary for Halloween costumes and the epic annual Halloween bashes they’d host for Hollywood’s elite.
