Louis Vuitton welcomes the city of Toronto to experience its Time Capsule Collection, a curated ensemble highlighting the innovative moments throughout the brand’s 165-year history.
The exhibit runs from September 7 to 30 in front of Union Station, from 9am to 9pm on Monday to Friday and 11am to 9pm on Saturday and Sunday. This is your chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime collection of Louis Vuitton’s trailblazing origins. We are not the only ones lucky enough to witness this, as the Collection’s world tour included stops in Hong Kong, Berlin,
Melbourne, Madrid, Osaka and Los Angeles, with its current installation celebrating Louis Vuitton’s 35th year in our city.
Louis Vuitton initially began making travel and luggage pieces for globetrotters, with unique and practical designs bringing people in swarms to establish the French fashion house’s empire. To honour their history, the Time Capsule features the brand’s most innovative contributions to travel luggage, including collaborations, historical pieces, and pioneering advancements. It will also feature live exhibitions of the craftsmanship that is put into the pieces, including painting
and other personalization services. As you near the end of the exhibit, the installation is even complimented with a pop-up store where items such as fragrance and stationary will be available for purchase to commemorate this unique assortment.
