The Soho Metropolitan Hotel has bid adieu to Senses Restaurant, and rumour has it that it is to be replaced by Luckee, a Cantonese and dim sum specialty restaurant by none other than Toronto-eatery and celebrity chef Susur Lee. Details about the new restaurant are being kept hush-hush for now, but the Soho Met’s rep’s confirmed that “exciting new changes will be happening in the [Senses] space” and to hold tight for more details to come. Luckee is set to open in Spring 2014.
This will be Lee’s third restaurant, Lee, being just around the corner on trendy King West and Bent on Dundas West. With an Asian-focused menu at both as well, we can’t wait to line up for what is sure to be some good eats at Luckee and indulge in Susur’s specialty cuisine. Lucky us!
