A look at the Marimekko summer pop-up
Running from June 26 to July 31, the Marimekko pop-up will showcase a selection of the brand’s ready-to-wear pieces, alongside handbags, home décor, accessories, and small leather goods from the Pre-Fall 2024 collection, which were specifically curated with Toronto in mind. All of it will showcase the brand‘s iconic abstract floral print, Unikko, paying it homage as an emblem of joy and creativity.
“The selection primarily includes key pieces from Marimekko’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection, including the beloved Jokapoika shirt and shorts set in a vibrant new shade of red, the Aiva belted dress featuring a bold Unikko pattern, the cult favourite Karla bag in updated colorways, and more,” reads the press release.

To further the experience, Marimekko will also be taking over Holts Café inside the Holt Renfrew at 50 Bloor Street West, transforming the iconic restaurant from décor to florals so guests will be immersed in the iconic print for a culinary experience like no other. “From the entryway through to the bar and dining rooms, Unikko comes to life through décor, florals and graphics to honour the print’s 60th anniversary,” the release continues.
The pop-up brings a selection of new products into Holt Renfrew, marking the first foray for select pieces into Canada and expanding on the items available inside the iconic luxury retailer.
