A MICHELIN-recognized Armenian gem in Toronto is keeping things fresh with an all-new seasonal menu. This season, Taline is rolling out a lineup that highlights fresh, vibrant ingredients and the traditional flavours that have made the restaurant a favourite among Torontonians. Whether you’re a devoted fan or new to Armenian food, the menu looks to be both comforting and full of surprises.
Let’s take a look at the starters first. You’ve got the hummus paired with black garlic, havit, braised leek, and matnakash. Then there’s the labneh topped with honeycomb, burnt corn, and carrot top, and served with matnakash. There are also plenty of salad options, including an elevated version of the restaurant’s signature tabbouleh.
Moving on to the main course. The Ghaverma is a veal shank that comes with cipollini onions, nour, and dibs ar-rumman. Another item is Tsoug with pickled shallot, harra (a blended Lebanese chilli crisp) and green harissa. A rice dish is introduced to the menu as well, Dikranagerd Pilav.

Lastly, we’ve got my favourite part of any menu and that is of course the dessert section. If you’re into any kind of soft serve (like me), then Taline offers the Sweet Sujukh soft serve made with Armenian brandy-infused apricots. Another one is the Kunefe Tarte Tatin, which brings together the flavours of a traditional kunafa and classic French tarte Tatin. It’s distinguished by its layers of caramelized apple between the kunafa pastry.
The cocktail offerings
One of the featured offerings is the Taline cocktail. This consists of a blend of araak, mint, sugar, and lemon. There is also Valley of Ararat, made with Ararat brandy infused with apricots, honey, and a tahini fat wash.
Alcoholic beverages also include, different Armenian and Lebanese wines are available.
