I know I wouldn’t be the only one to say that live concerts and in-person events were dearly missed the past two years! And honestly, it feels like longer. Luckily for us music fans, the lineup of performances set to take place in The 6ix this year seem like nothing but exciting. Especially with concert places like Massey Hall. It’s also a thrilling time for the venue itself, which now has a newly-renovated space. And it’s all part of an even more exciting partnership.
Two New Bars At The Massey Hall Concert Venue
The new renovation is part of the Hall’s team-up with Koninklijke Grolsch N.V. The Dutch brewery is one of the oldest ones, having been founded back in 1615. In celebration of the two partnering up, the performing arts theatre is now home to two official Grolsch Bars. Yep, that’s right. You can find a bar each on the second and third floor of the Hall.
As for the drinks themselves, there’s the likes of Grolsch and Peroni Nastro Azzurro, along with some local brands as well. Canadian band Broken Social Scene also recently had their first Massey Hall performance, giving fans the perfect opportunity to mingle over a drink and show in the new space.
