In the mood for something new? These three new Toronto restaurants promise to be the talk of the town this week…
Playa Cabana Hacienda: Due to what we can only imagine is popular demand, Playa Cabana is opening its third location, Hacienda, this time only steps away from the first location on Dupont Street. Although it officially opens tomorrow, we’re heading over tonight to try check out the famed Mexican establishment’s newest outpost. We’ll have the lowdown for you early next week.
Food & Liquor: On July 1st, Canada Day, we actually ended our evening at the soft opening of what’s sure to be one of Parkdale’s newest hotspots, Food & Liquor, on Queen West. In the mood for a Lamb Tongue rolled in a Scallion Pancake with Mint Sauce? Hell, yes! Food & Liquor is also home to a Montreal-esque back patio that’s perfect for spending the night sipping summer drinks with good friends. It’s open, so head over.

Bero: Queen East has gotten yet another new restaurant in Leslieville. Bero, a new Basque and Spanish restaurant, opens today, and we’re already making plans to check out the resto’s brunch menu, which runs from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays, like a good brunch spot should. We’ll see you at 2:30pm.
