This weather we are experiencing is to say the least, amazing. Having lived in the Caribbean for 4 years, I love the heat and the sun. So when an invitation to the Oasis Patio opening came through, I jumped on it. The Oasis patio is one of those places – if you don’t know about it, it’s the best surprise when you first step foot in it. It is the rooftop patio to Wayne Gretzky’s. Surprised? I certainly was the first time I went. With a gorgeous waterfall, cool lounge furniture and a huge bar, this is the place you want to be when the sun is shining.
So last Friday, Sam and I – who I hadn’t seen in way too long – decided to check out the opening party. Sponsored by Coors Light Iced Tea and Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery, we had a few drinks, nibbled on tacos and chicken wings and people-watched on this rooftop oasis. After reporting the scene on twitter, Adam and Tiffany aka Ms. She’s So Savvy (www.ShesSoSavvy.ca) were drawn to our tweets and came to join us. Fun evening filled with cool vibes and cold drinks. Can’t get better than that.
