Several cookie shops have left a sweet impression on the hearts of Torontonians, be it for their distinctive flavours, unwavering quality, or downright delicious treats. Among them, one stands out as a cornerstone in the city’s dessert scene, and brace yourselves because it’s gearing up to become even more prominent with the unveiling of a new location. This will mark the brand’s sixth delightful outpost in the city!
Set to open in spring this year, this new spot is replacing the cookie shop’s previous Yorkdale Mall location, which was closed recently. According to an Instagram post shared by the shop, December 27, 2023, was the last day for its Yorkdale branch. “Despite our best efforts, due to renovations in the mall and lack of retail space, we are not able to extend our lease,” the post stated.
It was in the same Instagram post that Craig’s Cookies mentioned the upcoming opening announcement of a new location. And now, we know exactly where it’s going to be: Toronto’s Union Station.

“I can’t think of a better way to share our cookies and our message of love and acceptance than by connecting with commuters, tourists, and Torontonians at the historic Union Station,” Craig Pike, Founder and CEO of Craig’s Cookies, said in a press release statement.
This will be a corporate location for Craig’s Cookies in Toronto. That means customers will be able to try the famous Newfoundland cookie recipe of Pike’s mother. This new branch of the cookie store will be part of a collection of curated local, independent retailers right in the heart of the station.
There’s direct access right below the Great Hall. Or if you’re coming from the TTC area, you can take the escalators beside the TD Bank branch.
