It’s safe to say that we’re only in June and temperatures are already hitting sky-rocket numbers. How are we able to spend more than 2 hours outdoors in 30+ degree weather and not feel like dying? I know that when it’s this hot, I need a pool. Summer is always bittersweet when you know of someone who has a pool, but you’re not close enough to just “casually” invite yourself over. Having a pool is a luxury, but we’re also fortunate enough to live in a city that has many outdoor pool available to us! There’s a whole lot of history at the Sunnyside Gus Ryder Pool on Lakeshore! This pool was the hottest spot in the city during the summers of 1925! It was so popular that there was a designated street car that brought people from all around the city here on the hot summer days!
Alex Duff Memorial Pool

The Alex Duff Memorial Pool is located at Christie Pits Park. This is a great pool for people of all ages because it features a 25m lap pool, shallow splash pool for children, a conversation pool, a deep pool for diving with a 1m spring board, and a two storey water slide!
