Alright, let’s dive into the condiment debate – a hot topic among foodies who have strong opinions on what’s the best topping. Ketchup, mustard, and mayo – the usual condiments – are commonly loved by many. Whether it’s burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches we can all agree that a dash of your favourite condiment can be a game-changer. And guess what? A new contender’s entering the ring, courtesy of Pepsi®. Toronto, brace yourself for a taste test showdown this week, as they’ve teamed up with a fast food brand to release their new condiment.
About Pepsi® Colachup in Toronto
The item’s arrival in Toronto from the brand is happening as part of a partnership between Pepsi® Canada and Harvey’s. The world’s first Pepsi-infused condiment, Pepsi® Colachup, is in line with the #BetterWithPepsi campaign.
“We know that burgers are Better With Pepsi. That’s why we’re giving burger-lovers a chance to taste the delicious flavour of an ice-cold Pepsi cola on top of their favourite Harvey’s burger, first-hand. We created Pepsi Colachup to reinforce just how well Harvey’s burgers and Pepsi go together,” Reid Black, Senior Director, PepsiCo Beverages Canada, said in a press release statement.

That’s right, it’s Pepsi-flavoured ketchup. Instead of regular ketchup, this is the condiment that would go on the burger. The citrusy Pepsi taste is supposed to remain, but to be paired with burgers for the combination.
Where can Torontonians try Pepsi® Colachup?
The Harvey’s RV tour initiative was launched by the burger brand to connect consumers. There was also a cross-Canada tour back in 2020, giving away free burgers to frontline workers. The RV tour is back for another edition this year and it will be in Toronto on National Burger Day on August 24.
And here’s where the Pepsi® Colachup in Toronto will be as well.
You can get a complimentary classic Harvey’s Angus or Veggie burger, which will feature the Pepsi® Colachup. It’ll be open from 12 pm-2 pm and from 3 pm-5 pm.
