For those who’ve ever pondered the purpose of the hole in a bagel and would rather skip it altogether, your wish has been granted! For a short time at least. Why, you ask? It’s because Philadelphia Cream Cheese has launched Philadelphia Bagel Wholes and it’s exactly as it sounds: bagels without holes in them. More space, more schmear. If this sounds like something you need in your life, then I’m going to tell you how you can get your hands on some.
How to try Philadelphia Bagel Wholes
“We’ve heard our fans question why bagels have holes and the limitations it poses for their favourite cream cheese, and we couldn’t agree more,” Keenan White, Senior Brand Manager, Philadelphia at the Kraft Heinz Company, said in a press release statement. “That’s why we’re joining forces with fan-favourite shops across North America to create a more-schmear movement, maximising the space to enjoy Philly’s signature, creamy taste with every bite.”
Yep, the brand has partnered with different bagel shops across the US and Canada to offer Bagel Wholes for a limited time. The US locations are Utopia Bagels in New York, Steingold’s of Chicago, Starship Bagel Dallas, Rubinstein Bagels in Seattle.

Here in Canada, it’s with Montreal’s St-Viateur Bagel. It’s available in-store but for us Torontonians, and the rest of Canada, there’s nationwide shipping available. You can get it delivered by ordering on the St-Viateur Bagel website.
Philadelphia Bagel Wholes will be around only until February 12. So you might want to run and not walk to place your order.
