Toronto’s fitness scene is about to get even hotter with the upcoming new location of Sweat and Tonic. This popular destination for wellness enthusiasts is expanding its reach, opening its third Toronto location in the prestigious Yorkville neighbourhood. The first location is at Yonge and Shuter St., while the second is at The Well. Like in its other locations, this one too aims to foster a thriving community of fitness enthusiasts.

The fitness club will have a home in the new 11 Yorkville (11YV) mixed-use development. The development is going to have one 62-storey mixed-use building (residential), where the first two floors will be used for retail. It’s being put together by RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, Metropia and Capital Developments.
“RioCan is thrilled to expand our partnership with Sweat and Tonic by introducing their second location within our portfolio at 11YV,” Oliver Harrison, Senior Vice President, Leasing and Tenant Experience at RioCan said in a press release statement.

The 11YV will have 600 residences along with world-class amenities. The structure has been inspired by the towers of Manhattan in New York.
“We have looked at many spaces over the ensuing years as we maintained a discipline to be selective, and so it’s with great pride we can finally announce another partnership with RioCan to make 11 Yorkville our third home in Toronto,” David Ingram, Founder of Sweat and Tonic, also said in the statement.
One entire floor of the 11YV tower will be dedicated to Sweat and Tonic, with 18,000 square feet of fitness and lifestyle amenities. The space will host 200+ classes, all led by some of the city’s top trainers. The usual studio offerings that are there in the other Sweat and Tonic locations will be available in this new one as well.
