Toronto’s love affair with Italian food only grows stronger with every year. The beloved Italian marketplace Eataly is bringing its well-known products and offerings to the city for the third time with a new location. It will open on May 30 and follows the earlier opening of Eataly Sherway Gardens in November last year. Toronto is the second North American city, after New York, to have three locations.
Eataly is opening at Shops at Don Mills
“Toronto has embraced us from the very beginning, and with the opening of two stores in less than a year, we are committed to serving new audiences here and providing a taste of the authentic Italian lifestyle,” Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America, said in a press release statement.
The new location stands at nearly 10,000 square feet. As per the brand’s signature style, there will be one restaurant, one store with imported and local delicacies, and multiple counters that will serve a variety of dishes.

The restaurant is set to have 180 seats with indoor and patio seating. The menu will host traditional pasta dishes like Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, authentic Pizza Napoletana, and several seafood-based dishes. The highlight of the beverage offerings is the wine list with 85+ selections of Italian wine. Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will be available too.
The following quick service counters will be there:
- A pastry counter with baked goods
- All-day coffee bar
- A counter with a selection of Roman-style pizzas
- A counter serving Foccacia Farcita and panini
The market will host all the Italian product essentials that Eataly is known for. This includes cured meats, artisan cheeses, extra virgin olive oils, and hundreds of imported Italian goods. The new location is at CF Shops at Don Mills shopping centre, which is located at 1090 Don Mills Rd.
