It’s been a long time since we’ve seen anything remotely green, but thankfully St. Patrick’s Day serves as a healthy reminder that green is indeed a colour we occasionally see… in that season… the one that’s not winter.
Let’s be honest, most people’s St. Paddy’s Day behaviour is far from saintly; which after being cooped up inside for so long is completely understandable. This (non-statutory) holiday serves as an opportunity for many to consume more libations and Irish nachos than anyone can shake a four leaf clover at.

While it’s very important to plan the party, it’s imperative to prepare for the aftermath (buzzkill, I know). You may not feel the best the day after, but here are some ways to help you look it…
Hydrate
This is pretty much gospel for any post-drinking recovery. Unless you plan on looking like an extra from The Walking Dead, you’ve got to work from the inside out. Getting as much non-alcoholic fluid in your system as possible ensures you’ll feel better, and well help your skin look livelier. Or you can just grab an Evian Hydrating Spray, which helps to set makeup and restore skin’s pH balance.
Conceal + Highlight
Everyone is always after the fresh faced, dewy-skinned look that all celebrities seem to master. After a night at the bar you may not always have access to your full makeup arsenal, but if there’s one thing you should keep around it’s these lifesaving products: concealer and highlighter. Use the former to cover up under eye circles and acne spots, and the latter to catch the light on your cheekbones, temples and brow bone.
Hide Out
If worse comes to worst, you can always opt for the age old classic: sunglasses. It matters not whether you are indoors or outdoors, what only matters is that these sun deflection devices stay glued to your face. Thus providing an effective barrier between your hangover and the world.
