Popular “Chicago Style” sandwich restaurant, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, is coming to Toronto. Vv Magazine’s Grayson Miller gives us the dish.
Famous International restaurant Potbelly Sandwich Shop will be opening their first flagship location in Toronto this October at 83 Yonge Street (at King). Known for their Chicago style “Warm and Toasty” sandwiches, “Potbelly will bring a bold new flavour to the Toronto sandwich market by offering delicious and classic sandwiches prepared quickly by a friendly staff, all in a warm and inviting environment,” said David Kozman, President of Halsted Hospitality Ltd (operator of Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Canada).

The Chicago-born eatery is a fast-casual style restaurant chain that currently operates 400 restaurants across the U.S., The Middle East, and the United Kingdom. Aside from their famous sandwiches, Potbelly also offers salads, soups, cookies and hand-crafted milkshakes.
We expect this chain of restaurants to be extremely popular as the brand has every intention to open several stores in the Toronto market. The next location slated to open after their Yonge and King flagship will be located at 180 Bloor Street, across from the Royal Ontario Museum.
