Cookies are a great treat, but what’s even sweeter is getting one named after you. That’s what happened with a particular star from the hit television show, Reacher. Parts of the show were shot in Toronto, which was when he was introduced to the local cookie brand that created and named a cookie after him to thank him for his support.
Yep that’s right, the honour went to none other than Reacher himself, Alan Ritchson. The actor tried Toronto’s popular Craig’s Cookies for the first time (shoutout to his assistant for the intro!) when he was on set and he’s been a big fan ever since.
The actor posted on Instagram about the news, saying, “I cannot contain myself right now, how excited I am”, about getting his own cookie aptly called, “The Alan”.

This one is a mix of dark chocolate chips, from Soul Chocolate here in The 6ix, and butterscotch chips made with Craig’s famous (and secret) cookie recipe. The cookie was concocted based on Ritchson’s favourite cookie flavours.
And it’s even all for a good cause. All proceeds from “The Alan” cookie will be donated to CAMH: The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
“Craig’s Cookies has always supported local and community organizations, and we couldn’t be happier to team up with Alan Ritchson to support CAMH, one of Canada’s leading research hospitals supporting individuals’ mental health,” Craig Pike said in a press release statement.
You can get “The Alan” cookie in Toronto only in-store and not online. It’s priced at $4 and available until February 29.

The second season of Reacher dropped on Amazon Prime Video on December 15 last year. The show, based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher book series, has also been renewed for a new season.
