Originally built in the 1940’s as a government housing project, the Regent Park of today is not the Regent Park of the past! Regent Park blends in between Cabbagetown to the north and Cortktown to the south and spans an entire 69 Acres! Now home to cafe’s, shops, local artists, and an amazing aquatic centre; the NEW Regent Park is a neighbourhood to watch out for!

Redevelopment
In 2005, the city of Toronto struck the Revitalization Plan to clean up the neighbourhood. The streets were flooded with light and the new builds were designed to reflect those of neighbouring pockets like Cabbagetown and Corktown to help end the social isolation of the area.

What’s To Come!
While The Daniel’s Group has been crowned the kings of Regent Park, other developers like the Broccolini Brothers are stepping in to continue new growth and bring in new buildings such as River and Fifth!
The Revitalization Plan has 5 phases with phase 3 set to be completed late 2023!
