Registration Extended For Toronto’s DineTOgether Promo Supporting Local Restaurants

DineTOgether has extended the deadline for restaurant submissions to September 7 at 11:59 p.m. Giving restauranteurs more time to register and submit their ideas.

DineTOgether is part of ShowLoveTO, in association with Founding Sponsor American Express and in partnership with Destination Toronto. This event has been created to support the recovery of local restaurants and celebrate Toronto’s diverse culinary scene.

DineTOgether Program

DineTOgether will take place from Friday, September 17 to Sunday, October 3. Encouraging residents to shop at local eateries through a feature menu available through takeout, delivery, patio dining, and indoor dining.

“We understand how busy local restaurant owners are right now. The extended deadline will allow more restaurants to participate in DineTOgether. This way more Torontonians can show our love to the restaurant industry in September while savouring a delicious feature menu.” Says Mayor John Tory.

Currently, registration is open to many restaurants in neighbourhoods that have not participated in previous programs. This extension will allow positive outcome for small and local business owners as they will benefit from this program.

“Small businesses shape our neighbourhoods, and restaurants in particular help define the flavour of our local communities. I can’t think of a better way for all of us to come together than to dine small in support of some of our local faves through the City’s DineTOgether initiative” say Kerri-Ann Santaguida, Vice President and General Manager of Merchant Services, American Express Canada.

Programs Details

Restaurants that participate in this program will offer lunch and dinner feature menus with a main dish, appetizer, or dessert, priced between $15 and $50 in $5 increments. This will accommodate as much restaurant as possible, prices are per person and exclude beverages, taxes, and gratuity.
