Hump Day is officially the new Friday night… at least this week! What better way to rock a Wednesday evening than for a good cause? Sure, you could stay home and watch Survivor, but we suggest making like a foodie with a heart of gold by making reservations at one of 25 restaurants participating in October 22’s Restaurants for Change. Proceeds from dinner service at all participating hot-spots (in nine different cities across the country), including local favourites like Drake One Fifty and Buca, will go towards Community Food Centres Canada‘s nation-wide programs combating hunger, poor health, and social isolation in low-income communities.
If you’ve ever been to visit The Stop right here in our fine city (which brings together locals to cook, grow food, and learn about eating healthy), then you know just how powerful and important Community Food Centres Canada’s efforts are to effect change. All you have to do is go out to eat to show your support. Check out the list of amazing participating restos right here and start making plans. #FoodForGood
