Last week’s blind item revealed…
We didn’t expect Charlie Sheen to publicly announce that he’s HIV positive this week when we revealed to you just last week that a well-known Hollywood ‘Lady’s Man’ was being sued by some of his former lovers for withholding his diagnosis from them, despite being treated for the disease for years. Sheen wants to put both the secrecy–as well as the millions of dollars in hush hush money he’s already had to pay–behind him as he moves on with the next chapter of his life and attempts to be a face for disease. Magic Johnson, one of the very first openly HIV positive megastars to help familiarize the masses with the illness, has already expressed his support for Sheen. We sincerely wish him the best of luck.

24 Hours Toronto launches new column that has competitors up in arms
Juice Factor: 9/10
Sabrina Maddeaux, fashion and lifestyle writer for NOW Magazine, is no stranger to controversy writing articles for NOW and National Post that push the envelope and get readers’ blood pressures up – refreshingly so. Last week the newly branded 24 Hours Toronto launched a few new columns including Maddeaux’s new platform to instigate debate, “Toronto, Interrupted”. Going out with a bang, her first topic was the annual Toronto Life Most Influential list questioning if the Toronto publication had missed the mark on the list highlighting only 11 of the 48 Toronto influentials were women – and doubting the chosen men. While we (might) agree, rumour has it the big wigs at Toronto Life were not impressed – especially after she herself partied the night away at the TL Most Influential gala that same evening at the Four Seasons Toronto.
Gavin Rossdale wants Gwen Stefani back?
Juice Factor: 8/10
She may have moved on to her Voice costar Blake Shelton–leading the country crooner to joke on air this week that he’s even received a booty call from the Queen of Ska–but apparently Gwen’s ex-hubby Gavin Rossdale doesn’t move on so easy. The Bush frontman was photographed by paparazzi this week wearing his wedding ring… and if you get as little paparazzi action as Gavin Rossdale, you certainly know how to make the most of a photo opp.
Blind Item: And the new media scene party drug is…
Juice factor: 9/10
These two Toronto media darlings seem to do everything together, from stockpiling freebies to attending the opening of an envelope. If you know both or either of them, you know they’ve had some pretty wild party days in their joined and respective past… and, by that, we mean everyone knows they love drugs. That said, it was a shocker for even their good friends to discover they’re now experimenting with muscle relaxers on the social circle. Really? Unless we’re at a press event for Robaxacet, we don’t want to see our champagne glass anywhere near a box of muscle relaxant on the party circuit.
Vancouver Canucks drink hard at Toronto’s Cactus Club
Juice Factor: 8/10
NHL players might not have the international sex symbol status of say, footballers overseas, but you can blame reality show Hockey Wives for making Canadian women get all hot and bothered when they see a group of guys missing half their teeth enter the room. The Vancouver Canucks seemed right at home here in Toronto on Friday night, arriving in town the night before their game against the Leafs, to party it up at new Toronto hotspot Cactus Club Cafe. A flock of females soon crowded around the team like urban seagulls to a pizza box. While both parties were drinking hard and flirting eventually turned to dancing, the guys appeared to lose interest when their new fans started to get more aggressive and sloppy. We’re guessing the coach arrived on scene.

Blind Item: Sexy on stage, timid on Tinder
Juice factor: 9/10
This Toronto-based musician has topped some of the “city’s sexiest” list put out by local publications, but don’t let his guitar and grunge style fool you. If you wonder why you rarely see him tied to significant others, that’s likely because he’s no rock star when it comes to dating. Although he uses Tinder to date the locals, he’s known for exiting dates clearly due to anxiety before they’ve barely even begun.
