Kim Kardashian, Robbery Unsolved
Juice Factor: 10/10
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that the entire world is talking about the Kim Kardashian robbery in Paris. Allegedly, two gunmen posing as police officers and photographers forced the concierge to let them up to Kim’s room. Once inside, they tied her up and put handcuffs on her as they proceeded to steal over 10 million dollars worth of jewelry, including her crazy 4-million-dollar ring. The weirdest part about the heist is that Kim’s bodyguard was not on the scene. TMZ reports that it smells like an inside job – we can’t help but kinda agree. There is no surveillance camera footage from the hotel available. Really? Like, cmon. Luckily, there is apparently footage from a nearby nail salon that is being reviewed by police. Whoever did it, I would fear the wrath of Kanye West, who would do just about anything to protect his family – even stop performing midway his concert.

Kate Middleton Causes Canadian Brand to Sell, Sell, Sell
Juice Factor: 8/10
We all watched the Royal visit to Canada last week. Our faves, Kate Middleton and her clan toured the entire country clad in Canadian designer clothing. One brand, Sentaler, was spotted on the Duchess on Day 5 of her tour. She wore the ribbed sleeve baby alpaca coat while chatting with some mountain bikers in the Yukon. The Kate effect ensued! The jacket allegedly sold out in minutes – with preorders being made for February 2017. Crazy! This is big news for the Canadian outerwear brand that has been making amazing strides lately and that has become a cult fave among celebs.
Blind Item: Influencer Agencies are the New Black
Juice Factor: 8/10
In a world where everyone and their mom is an influencer, it’s sometimes hard to tell who’s actually influencing and who’s not. One way? Apparently, being backed by an influencer agency or rep, which is also pretty easy to find these days. In the past years, we’ve seen a slew of agencies open, some with success, others with, well… not so much. One “top influencer” started a company earlier this year, representing like-minded individuals – a quick hop to their website shows the venture was short lived. Now, we’ve caught wind that a certain media darling has gone off on her own, taking her Instagram-worthy squad with her. The only issue? Some of the influencers were already spoken for. But no matter what ends up happening, we’ve got to commend said darling on her hustle – it takes guts to start your own biz. May the bridges you burn light the way…
Demi Lovato Slams T-Swift, Quits the Music Industry
Juice Factor: 7/10
Not that anyone cares about Katy Perry but this could be newsworthy in another dimension. Demi Lovato, a self-proclaimed feminist, is out to get the hypocrite of all hypocrites, Taylor Swift, in her latest interview in GLAMOUR magazine. She says that T-Swift’s “girl squad” is not a realistic portrayal of real women. She also said that T-Swift should have never made a song about Katy Perry (Bad Blood) because that’s not empowering other women. So, Demi has it out for T-Swift. Maybe she’s just sad to not be part of the squad, or perhaps there’s something more to the criticism. Maybe, just maybe, Taylor Swift isn’t the goody two shoes she paints herself out to be. Whatever the reason, it seems to have pushed Demi over the edge because days after the interview came out, she announced on social media that she’s “taking a break from music and the spotlight..” because she’s not “meant for this business and the media”. Waa, waa. If you can’t handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Blind Item: Blogger Blacklisted over Bad Behaviour
Juice Factor: 9/10
We’ve heard through the grapevine that somebody’s name just got deleted off the list, permanently, on account of being very very bad. You know when you’re naughty in the blogosphere, you’re bound to get blacklisted sooner or later. Some bloggers just don’t know when to shut the eff up. Well, the alleged blogger in question went a little bit too far with their high demands and stalker-ish antics to try to get invites to events. We’ve heard that they might be blacklisted (they probably are) from one of the year’s most sought-after events ever. Hint: It’s happening really soon. Double Hint: They won’t be there.
Postmedia Worker Witch Hunt
Juice Factor: 9/10
If you didn’t see the epic Blue Jays game earlier this week, who are you??!! Edward Encarnacion hit a three-run homer, advancing our home team to the Division Series. While the crowd went wild for the win, one spectator got a little too rowdy. A supposed Blue Jays fan threw a beer can onto the field at the Orioles’ outfielder Hyun Soo Kim (video below). And since nobody likes a sore winner, of course, police looked into the situation and released a photo of the supposed beer can thrower. The Toronto Sun even posted an offer of $1000 for anyone who could ID the tosser. Funny enough, the suspect has ended up being Postmedia worker, Ken Pagan. For those who don’t know, The Toronto Sun is owned by Postmedia. Anywho, Pagan says it wasn’t him and that he was drinking beer out of cups that evening. The award-winning journalist’s lawyer has advised him not to speak any further about the situation and no charges have been laid yet.
