Does this mean she’s now Mrs. Hey Girl?
Juice factor: 7/10
Eva Mendes showed off a pretty stunning emerald ring on Instagram that begs the questions, “Did baby-daddy Ryan Gosling pop the question?” The hot couple already have a daughter together, but given that they’re the subject of breakup rumours every few months, the ring definitely makes diehard Gosling super-fans think that maybe, just maybe, he’s finally off the market. If he’s going to marry an American actress and it’s not going to be Rachel McAdams, we’re at least glad it’s someone we can say from first-hand conversations is legit cool.
Blind item: Plagiarizing is the new writing original material
Juice factor: 10/10
This well-known local magazine personality is known for hitting all the right fashion events whilst looking next-level fabulous, but the career isn’t going so well after higher-ups used that ever so handy Google to discover that being original in letters isn’t as much a priority for this style guru as setting trends with clothes.

The Bat Pack parties Gotham style in Toronto
Juice factor: 8/10
Well, they definitely give new meaning to social Suicide… with a capital “S,” that is. The star-studded cast of Suicide Squad–who’ve all done their part making our fair city a little bit sexier this summer and have been getting along like billion-dollar franchises–are the new band camp and we kinda love ’em for it. The Hollywood hotties turned the 6ix into their very own Wet Hot American Summer on Sunday night after production wrapped early. Cara Delevingne may have celebrated her 23rd birthday in bacon strip boxers at a Toronto strip joint the week before, but she was still super charged to party with castmates Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, and Joel Kinnaman into the wee hours of Monday morning. They started the night at The Ballroom on John Street before hitting Drake’s beloved BarChef on Queen West where the signature manhattan has become a world-famous cocktail despite its hefty price tag thanks to Jay-Z and The New York Times. Heading south next–geographically speaking–Jai bought flowers for all the ladies when they brought the ruckus to the Thompson Hotel before ending at Blowfish restaurant on King Street. We know, we know–you go to ALL those places, right? But generally not ’til 3am the night before the work week begins.
Drake and Serena are back on
Juice factor: 8/10
It’s easy for us Canadians to forget that Drake is one of the most famous musicians and therefore most eligible bachelors in the world right now (Degrassi reruns tend to dim his star power for We The North). Turns out Drizzy might not be so single, though. He romanced tennis superstar Serena Williams before–around 2011 to be exact–but he’s been back in the stands while she dominates the court, even hitting not-so-sexy city Cincinnati yesterday to watch her win the WTA tournament. The score, though, was just plain LOVE-LOVE hours after the tournament when the rapper took his lady to celebrate her win at one of the fanciest establishments in the Buckeye State, Sotto Restaurant, where they dined on Italian food and each other’s faces in a private room. Onlookers still snapped photos of the two locking lips at the table. Apparently Serena’s friends are warning her to be wary of Drake who allegedly hurt the tennis powerhouse last time they were a hot item, but we’re giving this on-again couple our stamp of approval.
Musician hottie on Tinder in Toronto? Stars, they’re just like us!
Juice factor: 9/10
If you were into the indie rock revival scene of the early 2000s, you likely had the hots for some of the “I woke up like this… for the last six days and still haven’t showered” frontmen who rocked skinny jeans in waist sizes we couldn’t even get over our hips in high school. Think Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, The Killers’ Brandon Flowers, and–not to be forgotten–Canada’s sexiest offering, Tim Fletcher of The Stills. The Stills eventually broke up with Liam and Dave relocating to Toronto, but it finally looks like Tim’s here, too, with his new band The Plateaus. Caitlin Cronenberg has even shot the band’s music video for “YNG LUV”–featuring cameos from famous friends like Jay Baruchel–but it turns out Tim’s getting some of his actual lovin’ from none other than Tinder. Oh yeah. Ladies, download the app immediately and start practicing the ol’ right swipe.

Blind item: Who’s the icon heating up the American invasion of Toronto?
Juice factor: 9/10
No, we don’t mean TIFF. We actually don’t mean movies at all. It seems like everybody wants to do TV these days, and though it’s doubtless you’ve ever seen this American icon on the small screen, she’s working out the logistics of coming to Toronto to shoot a series with a Canadian production team–not to mention sharing screen time with a local who’s definitely not as well known but is more of an up-and-comer than D-lister. Why come to Canada? More creative input, apparently… and a much more relaxed and actually enjoyable filming experience.
