The end of Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel?

The day Karl Lagerfeld leaves the House of Chanel will be the fashion world’s version of the last day of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Earlier this week, Page Six reported that this sad day was coming sooner than any of us were prepared for… suggesting that the Chanel resort show in Cuba next month could be Uncle Karl’s final curtain. Fortunately for Chanel fans, we won’t be saying goodbye to the designer any time soon – Chanel quickly squashed rumours via British Vogue stating, “The rumours about Mr Lagerfeld discontinuing the collections and the cruise collection show in Cuba being the last are unsubstantiated.”
Blind item: A new Canadian marketing company gunning for business?

As if marketing in Canada isn’t competitive enough – with major firms constantly duking it out for the same contracts – it now looks like another major player is entering the arena. A pair of PR and marketing prodigies, who have collaborated frequently with one another over the years, are in serious talks to open their own firm. Their plan? To land huge money-making brands, nationally and internationally. Apparently, the dynamic duo are tired of working for marketing and PR firms as “content creators” or “idea people.” The two think cutting out the middle man will not only benefit them creatively, but financially as well. The freedom will allow them to pitch to brands and businesses they believe they can reinvigorate or completely transform, turning them into industry leaders. Given that they’re comfortable working in both English and French, they definitely have an enviable advantage when it comes to landing certain accounts.
Kylie Jenner’s “stolen” Coachella look

New Zealand fashion designer Brit Day took to Instagram to suggest Kylie Jenner’s look at me Coachella look – a combo of rainbow braids worn with a sequinned “Evil Eye” bikini by Discount Universe – was actually a street style creation of her own: “When the babe’n @kyliejenner steals your look!!” she posted, alongside an image of Kylie sporting the look she’d put together just weeks prior.
Karla Homolka now lives in Quebec

This week, Global News reported that Paul Bernardo’s ex-wife Karla Homolka–who served 12 years in jail for manslaughter–has been living in Chateauguay outside of Montreal for the past couple of years. Residents of the suburb are apparently only now finding out about Karla’s true identity. Allegedly, she has been using the name Leanne Bordelais in Chateauguay where she’s become acquainted with other parents while dropping off and picking up her daughter at Centennial Park School.

Anna Wintour told Vogue podcast host Andre Leon Talley all about the decision to give Taylor Swift a shocking makeover for the May 2016 Vogue cover. “We thought that we could take Taylor — who is a beautiful, beautiful girl but has been a little bit more conservative in her fashion choices — and turn her into a Hedi Slimane rock n’ roll girl,” said Wintour. “She was completely up for it and loved it, and is going to hopefully continue with this look.”
New Couple Alert: Kendall Jenner dating LA Lakers’ Jordan Clarkson?

Although Kendall Jenner does her best to keep her love life out of the limelight, the supermodel and reality star had her veil of secrecy lifted by People Magazine this week. The gossip mag revealed that the 20-year-old has been seeing 23-year-old LA Lakers star Jordan Clarkson for several months. Not to be out-done in the big reveal, a source for the UK’s Daily Mail said Kendall partied with the basketball star in private at Coachella. Although Kendall has yet to confirm or deny the rumours, we do have this Snapchat video of Jordan proving his athletic prowess by jumping over 5’10 Kendall’s head while at the music festival…

Nina Dobrev dating Scott Eastwood?

Well, that was fast. After just recently ending things with boyfriend Austin Stowell, Canadian actress and alum of The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev is rumoured to have a new flame: Whiplash star Scott Eastwood. Scott shared a photo on Facebook of the two alleged love birds getting cozy at Coachella. “Having a fun time at Coachella with this vampire,” said Scott in the photo caption.
