Toronto tastemakers, socialites and VIPS came together Monday evening for an exclusive cocktail reception and product launch hosted by L’Oreal Paris Beauty Ambassador and award-winning actress Julianne Moore, at Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto.
Guests sipped red and white wine and pink martinis topped with purple edible flowers, while ohhh’ing and ahhh’ing about how naturally beautiful and oh-so-pint-sized Moore was in person. The belle of the ball was wearing a chest-baring, deeply revealing, long-sleeved black dress, which she managed to pull off with such taste and class. All the Toronto powerhouses in the room, who are used to commanding such attention at these types of soirees were caught fangirling, awe struck and daring to be seen taking a selfie with the starlet.
Moore greeted guests before giving a short speech debuting L’Oreal Paris’ innovative technology in hair care. She was swiftly escorted out after her talk, only to return minutes later with a glass of white in her hand, to greet the guests and pose for a few more photo ops before bolting to the Still Alice after party.
