Nostalgia is all the rage lately, with everyone reuniting to make new music, bring back vintage ads and spaces, and even dress like it’s the 1990s and we’re in Clueless. Just when your heart doesn’t think life can get any better, a fabulous troupe is taking the nostalgia up a notch and helping you spice up your life. Yes, that’s right, there’s a Spice Girls drag show in the city of Toronto.
All about the Spice Queens drag show

As Sporty, Scary, Ginger, Posh and Baby Spice remind us, everything’s better when 2 become 1, and the fully choreographed drag show that pays homage to them does just that: it’s a drag brunch. To celebrate Mother’s Day on May 12, the Spice Queens – Baby Bel Bel, The Virgo Queen, Lucy Flawless, Ophelia Manson and Imarra – are putting on a show called Mama, I Love You – because there’s nothing better than bonding over girl power and iconic singalongs.
The tickets are $65 and include a full breakfast buffet and coffee and tea (with two cash bars to purchase alcohol) along with a show that’s sure to transport fans back to the 1990s. The full Union Jack dresses, Posh Spice’s iconic little black dress, Baby Spice’s pigtails and more are all there for the show, and, trust us, you “Wannabe” there to witness the top-ranked Spice Girls drag show. Guests will sit at tables of ten, which means mixing and matching could lead to a whole new definition of “you gotta get with my friends.”

The event will take place at Fantasy Farm Event Venue, which is located at 50 Pottery Road. Doors for the brunch open at 11 a.m., and the drag show itself begins at noon. It runs for about four hours. Tickets can be purchased online via EventBrite.
