Phew, what a star-studded week it has been over the last few TIFF 2022 days! Many of the film industry’s biggest icons not only graced the red carpet, but they’ve also been seen out and about the city. Chances are, one of them visited your favourite restaurant in The 6ix and you rubbed elbows with them. If you didn’t, don’t fret, there’s still a days left for some celebrity spotting. 😉 Including coming across Michelle Yeoh in Toronto as the ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ star came to town to receive the inaugural Groundbreaker award.

But it also seemed like she wasn’t leaving before enjoying a meal at Patois. The actress has made a stop at the establishment in the past, with the restaurant being one of her favourite spots. The Patois team shared an Instagram post with the caption, “@michelleyeoh_official Family Meal! Celebrating Big Tings with friends. Congrats Michelle! Xoxo”
Patois had hosted an intimate gathering for Yeoh and her friends, with the dining spot’s Owner and Chef, Craig Wong, having joined in as well.

The restaurant is known for its menu that brings together both Caribbean and Asian flavours. There’s dishes like Jerk Chicken Chow Mein, Chinese “Pineapple” Bun Burger, and Jamaican Oxtail, to name a few.
