Toronto’s culinary scene is more than familiar with celebrity appearances. This time, Golden Globe-winner Oscar Isaac was spotted enjoying a meal at one of the city’s restaurants that was featured in the Toronto MICHELIN Guide for 2022 and 2023. As part of Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Frankenstein, Isaac and other cast members have been seen in The 6ix for the filming.
Sightings of Oscar Isaac in Toronto
Isaac had stopped by Adrak Yorkville, a fine-dining Indian restaurant in Yorkville. According to the post shared by the restaurant on Instagram: “We were honoured to have Oscar Isaac join us at @adrakyorkville.”
This was not the actor’s only recent appearance in a Toronto dining establishment. Last month, he was also seen at Kiin, which as many of you would know is the sister restaurant of PAI. The Instagram post stated: “@chefnuitregular is doing something so special at Kiin these days with her new blind tasting menus, and I just love that people are loving it! ❤️❤️❤️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼”

With the ongoing filming of Frankenstein, you never know which of the cast members you might run into while being out and about. Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi was also seen at PAI back in March, along with film director David Cronenberg, and actor David Bradley.
Other celebrity sightings this year also included Academy Award-winner Michelle Yeoh at Lao Lao Bar, Kiss My Pans, and Roselle Desserts. Singer Justin Bieber and his model and entrepreneur wife Hailey Bieber also made an appearance at Alobar, alongside Australian rapper The Kid Laroi.
So clearly, the city’s F&B scene continues to bring in all the celebrities to the yard and for good reason. With so many delicious options and a variety of cuisines on offer, what’s not to love here in The 6ix? ; )
