With St. Patrick’s Day 2013 just around the corner, Toronto’s bars and pubs have begun listing off their events, specials, and attractions for the day in celebration of Ireland’s Patron Saint. For those looking to advance in the league of professional partiers, here’s your rundown of Toronto hotspots that will imbue your 2013 St. Patrick’s Day festivities with the, er, “calm” nature of the Emerald Isle.

Ceili Cottage
One of the most authentic Irish pubs in Toronto, Ceili Cottage amps up for a week-long celebration of St. Patrick. Starting March 13th, get ready for industry night, an oyster shucking contest, traditional Irish music, karaoke, a limerick contest, Celtic dancers, and more, all culminating on the Day of the Drink.

St. Paddy’s Beernanza at Beer Academy
The Beer Academy is doing a few days’ worth of events starting on the 15th. Coinciding with launch of their new limited release brew, enjoy live music, beer samplings, and $5 pulled pork sliders courtesy Lou Dawg’s.
FAB Concepts
With a roster of restaurants and pubs that includes some favourite watering holes – Murphy’s Law, Mill Street Brew Pub, Foggy Dew, Brazen Head, Pour House, Pogue Mahone’s, Watermark, Against the Grain, etc – FAB Concepts many, well, concepts, will each house some excellent Irish festivities. Against the Grain has a four-course Irish dinner (available on the 15th), Foggy Dew is hosting four days of fetes concluding on the 17th, Watermark is similarly going all out with five days of fun, and Mill Street is hosting a Brew Master’s St. Patrick’s Day inspired dinner on the 14th.
St. Paddy’s Day Bash at Steam Whistle
Celebrate with the Good Beer Folks this St. Patrick’s Day in Toronto at Steam Whistle, with pints aplenty of the local beer and traditional Irish entertainment amidst the great backdrop of the brewery.
St. Paddy’s Day Weekend at The Ballroom
All weekend long at The Ballroom, celebrate good ol’ St. Pat in style with drink specials – like $4 Jameson and Rail and $5 Guinness and Rickard’s – Irish fries and shepherd’s pies, and BPM Krew roundin’ it all off on the 17th.

Leslieville favourite The Roy Public House is taking a week to celebrate St. Patty, with Jameson specials (obviously) and a rounded list of pints all a buck off… or… as we like to think it: Buy Seven, Get One Free.
Brassaii
Le Brunch is on for St. Patrick’s Day 2013 in Toronto, bringing the mid-day antics to cray cray levels in celebration of the Patron Saint of the Pint. Alongside the green celebrations, the Kleen crew will be celebrating “family member” Michael Motamedi’s BDay, so you know they’ll treat it extra swank.

We all know how important it is to prime your liver for the Big Day, so Fionn MacCool’s Esplanade is hosting a full blown St. Practice Day celebration on March 16th. Varsity tents, live music and all things green. The festivities will continue the next day from early mornin’ to the wee hours of the night.

What kind of city would Toronto be without an official St. Patrick’s Day Parade? The 2013 edition kicks off at Bloor and St. George, heads east to Yonge, south to Queen, and finishes west at University.
