Although it’s just been a little over a month since Street Fighter 6 was released, the hype still continues with two million copies sold. What’s causing a stir now is the game’s unexpected collaboration with none other than KFC. You can now play as Colonel Sanders in the game! This isn’t the first time KFC has collaborated with a video game, in 2019 they also collaborated with Fortnite. KFC’s partnership with Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter 6 is the first in the series to have avatars that can be customized and chosen by the players. These custom avatars can be used in the Street Fighter universe among other players. The newest avatar you can play as is KFC’s Colonel Sanders. When he’s not busy making fried chicken he is supposedly busy being a fighter in Street Fighter 6.
The flight-ready version of The Colonel comes complete with his signature look including white hair, black-rimmed glasses, and identifiable goatee.

“With the introduction of ‘Recipes’ to ‘Street Fighter 6’, we saw an opportunity to connect with gamers organically through our most iconic brand asset – and create a value exchange that’s authentic to the gameplay itself,” Azim Akhter, Marketing Director at KFC Canada, said in a press release statement.
How to play as The Colonel in Street Fighter 6
Players have to use the recipe code WFFCHCV5A to be able to play as The Colonel. If you record a video of him completing a hit combo and tag @kfc_canada you can win a $50 gift card to KFC in Toronto and across the country.
The promotion is running until August 31, with the game available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series.
