When it comes to fast food submarine sandwiches, everyone knows that Subway is one of the most popular brands. It offers a selection of sandwiches with various types of breads, meat and vegetable fillings. Some Subway sandwiches are more popular than others and the fast food chain has given upgrades to two of its best-sellers.
About the revamped Subway sandwiches
Two of the Subway classics have been revamped. The result? The new Chicken Teriyaki Crunch and Chicken Rancher. They’re cheesier and crunchier than the originals. The new additions include double the amount of cheese and onions.
The Chicken Teriyaki Crunch, which was previously Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, comes with more crispy onions. The second item, Chicken Rancher, was previously the Chicken Bacon Peppercorn Ranch.

“Crispy onions deliver a satisfying crunch, and double cheese takes these sandwiches to the next level – made with Canadian farm-raised chicken, beef and pork,” Chef John Botelho, Culinary Manager at Subway Canada, said in a press release statement.
As part of the revamp of the sandwiches, Canadian snowboarding professionals Mark McMorris and Sébastien Toutant are also participating in commercials about the newly upgraded sandwiches.
