With cheekbones for miles, the gorgeous, charismatic and always electric DJ Kitty Glitter is coming to Toronto once again for Pride… but this time it’s World Pride 2014 and the Sydney, Australia native is bringing a hot dose of Down Under to TO.
Tell us a bit about yourself. What should people know?
I first started DJ’ing in 2006 after seven or so years of doing drag shows. Based in Sydney, I have been fortunate enough to play across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and North America. I think I’m most loved for the remixed pop sets I play in the local clubs in Sydney, but I’m truly in my element playing uplifting vocal house in a big room or large scale events such as Sydney’s Mardi Gras and Toronto Pride.

Where will you be performing at WorldPride Toronto and what can we expect?
First up I’m playing at Prism’s AQUA T-Dance on June 28th, and then later that evening on the Wellesley Stage for World Pride. I first played at Toronto Pride in 2010 and have been back again and again since! Playing at Toronto Pride last year was one of the greatest moments of my career. The crowd response was pure pride and celebration, and I can’t wait to be there to shine on with you all again. I’m really looking forward to Prism’s REVIVAL closing party at Guvernment. I heard it’s the last party to be held there so I’m sure there’s going to be an amazing energy.
What are three things you can’t live without?
Music, men, and shiny disco balls!
Let’s get social for a mo’. How do we stay up-to-date with you?
You can hear my mixes and podcasts at Podomatic and Soundcloud. I’m also on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
