You’ve had quite an accomplished artistic career. What are a couple of the highlights that bring a smile to your face when you reminisce?
Cirque Du Soleil, the Winter Olympic Torch Relay across Canada in 2010, and my first huge 1,000 attendee show, “Paint My Candy” – am I ever thankful for all of those experiences!
Your most recent showcase, Saturday Morning, takes us back to childhood. Where’d you come up with the concept?
In bed with a huge bowl of cereal on a Saturday morning! I was loving life and realizing that some things just don’t change and you have to do what you love. I absolutely love and cherish these Saturday morning ‘moments’ and wanted to recreate that for all to experience, just in case they’d forgotten how awesome it is! It makes me smile so hard.
What are three things you simply cannot live without?
Cereal. Colour. Laughter.

What’s your favourite restaurant and why?
This is tough… I love to dine, enjoy good food and drink in many locations. If I had to narrow it down, I’d have to say Banfi in the village (Pizza Banfi). It’s a huge staple for me and my family. Have you tried their Caesar salad and pizza?! It’s off the hook and I feel like a kid every time I go in there as I’ve been going there for as long as I can remember!
What’s your favourite drink/cocktail and where do you go to get it?
Perrier and a lovely amount of Campari before a meal with an orange or lemon slice works beautifully for me. If I’m in Italy, I’d use sparkling wine or Prosecco. I get it everywhere I can and whenever I can. Give it a try, it will pleasantly surprise you!
Your choice karaoke song is ______________.
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY!
Let’s get social for a mo’. How can people stay up-to-date with all your city-trotting?
Cool, I’m in many places and many cities, but the best way to get your weekly dosage would be my artist Facebook page: Jessgo Fine Artist, and on Instagram and Twitter. Thank you all for following, I hope to inspire and keep you creative!
