The Annual Toronto Taste Festival will be coming forth this Sunday, June 9th at the Evergreen Brickworks, making its comeback along with some of the most delicious appetizers and meals to munch on for a good cause. The fundraising initiative will be able to bring a surplus of food to more than 370 community organizations within the GTA.
The Toronto Taste Festival is a fundraising initiative that is provided by Second Harvest, which is one of the largest food rescue charities within the city, which is also sponsored by the Daniels Corporation. The event will be filled with some of the finest appetizers and meals made by the most creative and curative chefs within the city, along with 15 beverages items to choose from. Known chefs such as Brandon Olsen (La Banane), Carl Heinich (Richmond Station), and long-time Toronto Taste supporter Mark McEwan (Bymark) will be making a comeback in order to prepare the finest dishes made possible.
New restaurants will also be participating in the event such as Aloette, Don Alfonso 1890, a Michelin-star rated restaurant that has just opened doors within the city, Kiin, Bobbette, and more. Not only will they provide scrumptious meals and sweet drinks, but they will also hold live and silent auctions, as well as a chef showdown where they will prepare meals out of a mysterious box filled with organic ingredients.
