What you need to know about Planet Santa in Toronto
It’s time to get ready to party with Santa. Why? The immersive Santa set known as Planet Santa has made a comeback for another edition at Toronto’s Scarborough Town Centre.
This also includes the return of the Centre’s hot air balloon set but with a festive addition. Yep, it’s something new to the mix. More specifically, it’s a Hot Air Balloon installation that’s set at 16 feet tall! You know what that means; getting that Insta-worthy photo opp.

There’s more. A limited-edition hot air balloon ornament is also making its first appearance as part of the STC’s festivities that can be purchased by those who are looking for some commemorative merchandise.
“This year will be like no other for holiday festivities given the range of experiences designed to impress with size and scale as well as significance for families and shoppers of all ages,” Thien Nguyen, Director and general Manager, of Scarborough Town Centre, said in a press release statement.
