When you think of makeup what comes to mind? Beauty? Skill? Business? Art? Makeup is not only about the products one uses but how the artistry of the trade can transform your outer appearance and the person you are on the inside. The Makeup Show has been in production for over 10 years and is the largest professional makeup event in the United States. This year’s event will be held in eight major cities including New York, Orlando, Chicago, LA and Dallas.
Why all Toronto Makeup Artists & Business Professionals Should Be There
The format of the show is based in the framework of a traditional tradeshow. It allows beauty and fashion professionals to go beyond the basics and take their craft to the next level. The heart of the show lives in building a community within the industry by allowing a true networking opportunity amongst fellow artists and business owners. Attendees come through from around the world and are made up of make-up artists, students, hair stylists, fashion stylists, models, costume/theatre designers, photographers and aestheticians.
Toronto, You Can Still Attend
There is no Canadian stop for the show but Toronto professionals can attend the New York City stop between May 6-7, 2018. Interact with industry peers, learn techniques straight from the NYFW runways and leave with tips on how to run a business no matter what size it may be. The two-day show is broken out into 3 main areas: Key Note Presentations, Hands-On Workshops & Seminars and Focus on a Brand.
