The Remix Project is proud to present their new home at the Daniels Waterfront – City of Arts Centre, which is located at Queens Quay East. The academy celebrates the initiative by welcoming new generation of talented artists, musicians and other young creative curators on June 11th, 2019.
After 20 years of hard work and accomplishments within the academy, their vision and initiative has proven to become successful after years of renting spaces. Their new permanent 5,000 square feet location provides a plentiful amount of resources for young creative curators to craft and create their projects, as well as building a stronger base in Toronto’s growing music scene.
The academy has amassed international recognition as a result to their new flagship location. The 3.5 million dollar initiative that was funded by various municipalities and national governments such as the City of Toronto, the Province of Ontario, and the Government of Canada, as well as other family charities and private sector organizations.

Remix Project is a music initiative that was started in order to help disadvantaged and marginalized youth to showcase their talent and skills, as well as being able to work and collaborate with other artists as well. The academy holds various programs within the arts field, ranging from music, video, illustration, photography, fashion, and more. Notable artists from the program include Jessie Reyez, Daniel Daley of DVSN, Future the Prince and Ebony Oshunrinde, also known as “Wondagurl”.
