Talk about an unforgettable opener for the Toronto Raptors, folks! It was truly an exciting time for the team and their fans last night and it wasn’t just because of their victory. The Raptors secured a win of 130-122 in overtime against The New Orleans Pelican and it may well be the first of many wins to come.
It was a historic night as they had their first ring ceremony and banner raising for a championship opener. In order to commemorate Canada’s first NBA Championship, Baron Rings designed the Raptors’ 2019 World Championship Ring for the franchise. All those who attended the game last night at Scotiabank Arena received replicas of the ring.
The face of the ring features the Larry O’Brien trophy and it is centred over the Toronto skyline. The ring also features the team’s NORTH chevron jersey logo and the Scotiabank Arena. It is record setting on many fronts, including that it is the largest NBA Championship ring ever made.
