There’s a hell-themed Halloween bar pop-up for all of October

As the leaves turn and the sun sets earlier, the spirit of Halloween takes over, and this year, revellers can dive into a spine-chilling experience. For the entire month of October, a hell-themed Halloween bar pop-up is transforming the nightlife scene, inviting guests to embrace their wildest, creepiest fantasies. With devilishly crafted cocktails, decor that captures the essence of the underworld, and themed events, this pop-up offers a hauntingly good time for those brave enough to enter.

Hellbar in Toronto

Aptly known as Hellbar, the pop-up is the result of Offworld Bar transforming into a hell-inspired location for October. “We invite saints and sinners to enjoy our Hellbar-exclusive food and beverage offerings instead of Offworld’s typical menu,” reads the description on Tock.

As part of the event, there are a variety of themed cocktails on offer. One of these is the Soul Contract, priced at $16.66. You can either pay that price or just $6.66 with one catch: signing a legally binding contract selling your soul. Should you choose to sell your soul or not, the drink you’ll get is one made with vodka, Chambord, sweet wine, lime juice, raspberry syrup, and garnished with lychee and cherry.

There’s also the Confessor, where you text your sins to the number provided by the bar, and the confessional professionals will assign you the appropriate penance. This particular drink is a blend of Pisco, Absolut Peach, Pierre’s Dry Curaçao, and lemonade. There’s a selection of other cocktails on the menu as well, in addition to The Seven Deadly Gins.

Other items on the menu include Sinless Drinks (mocktails), and food items like Satan’s Suicide Meatball Roulette and Darkest Doom Spaghetti.

Hellbar in Toronto is also hosting several events during the month. There are horror movie screenings on Sundays, Tarot Tuesdays, and two Cocktail Class events. On October 18, there’s a The Devil Made Me Do It: Confessional Party, where you dress as your deadliest sin.
