With Lunar New Year just around the corner, the city’s already ready for festivities and celebrations. There are limited-time releases and pop-ups, like the one from cognac brand, Hennessy. The brand has teamed up with award-winning artist Yang Yongliang for a limited-edition collection to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Yongliang’s works blend traditional Chinese landscape art and contemporary digital technology.

The collection of bottles is part of the brand’s The Art of Personalization pop-up experience. You can choose to have one of the bottles or the House’s signature V.S., V.S.O.P, X.O and Paradis bottles customized with either English or traditional Chinese characters with calligraphy.
The pop-up is operating until February 11. You can buy the bottle and create your personalized message for a later pick-up.

“Hennessy has a rich tradition of partnering with artists to celebrate the Lunar New Year, and we are delighted to bring this collaboration to life through this unique pop-up,” Veronique
Gonneville, marketing and communications director at Moët Hennessy Canada, said in a press release statement.
“It was important to me to work with a brand that has respect for its history and traditions, as Hennessy does. It links the present to the past in everything it does, and I resonated with that,” Yongliang also added.
Where to buy the limited-edition bottles
You can get them at the Hennessy Lunar New Year pop-up at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street. They’re also available for purchase at select liquor retailers in key centres across Canada.
