As the city is in a bit of a flux right now, and controversy continues around the TTC, it remains a vital artery in commuting in the city. It goes without saying that everyone should always practice safe riding and exercise both caution and kindness whenever and wherever possible. With that in mind, there are still a ton of route changes and service alerts as spring is near, so keep readin to find out about the TTC changes in March to be aware of as you set your almost-spring plans.
Here are the TTC route changes in March
Changes on the 504 and 304 streetcar routes came into effect on February 12 and will be in place until further notice. This means, according to the TTC website, that “stops on Dundas Street West/Roncesvalles Avenue between Howard Park Avenue and King Street West will not be served.” This means that the 504A and 504B routes will experience diversions, and 504C routes will require passengers to change onto replacement buses.
The 126 Christie route will also be affected because of sewer repairs, and there will be a diversion along the route from February 15 to March 17. As a result of the repairs, northbound stops on Christie Street between Bloor Street West and Dupont Street are not operational, and riders should board the northbound bus outside the station on the west side of Christie Street, north of Bloor Street West.

These changes come on the heels of the TTC’s announcement that several routes would experience schedule changes to improve service reliability, a massive, sweeping policy that went into effect on February 12 and includes lines across the city.
And, of course, tons of stations across the city are still under construction for the entire year to improve accessibility, and many projects will continue into 2024.
